How do I join a stokvel?
Download the KasiConvocation app, sign up, and verify your identity. You can then browse existing stokvel groups in the Marketplace and request to join one that aligns with your goals.
How do I start my own stokvel group?
Tap on “Start a Stokvel” in the app. Set your group’s purpose, contribution amount, saving frequency, and invite members. Once approved, your group becomes active and ready for contributions.
Is KasiConvocation free?
Yes, the core app is free to use. We offer a premium model with additional paid features such as advanced analytics, exclusive content and premium support.
How does group saving work on the app?
Each group sets their own rules (amount, frequency, goals). Members contribute into a digital wallet. The group admin manages withdrawals and distribution based on agreed rules. Transparency tools allow all members to track savings.
How secure is my money and personal info?
We use end-to-end encryption, two-factor authentication, and bank-grade security protocols. Funds are held securely through licensed financial intermediaries.
How do I deposit and withdraw funds?
You can deposit using Ozow, EFT, or bank transfer. Withdrawals are done via the app and transferred directly to your linked bank account after admin approval.
I don’t belong to a stokvel but still want to save with others?
Fill in our “Find Your Stokvel Match” form on the website. We’ll match you with others with similar goals and help you form a new stokvel.
How do I report fraud or suspicious activity?
In-app, go to “Support” > “Report an Issue”. Alternatively, email us at support@kasiconvocation.com. We take violations seriously and have strict enforcement policies.
