Create a Stokvel Group
You start a group with your friends. The goal: Save R1000 per person every month for 10 months = R150,000 total.
Invite Your Friends
You send invites to 14 friends. They all download the app, sign up, verify their accounts just like you did and join your stokvel.
Start Contributing
Each month, every person puts R1000 into the stokvel using their KasiConvocation wallet by contributing.
Track Everything Together
Everyone in the group can see how much money has been saved, who has contributed and how much interest is growing.
Stokvel is Done After 10 Months
Together, you’ve saved R150,000 plus you earn interest up to 7% for being consistent savers.
Payout Time: 2 Options
You all vote and choose: Share the money equally or Send it to one member to invest or buy something big.
Everyone Must Agree
Before money leaves, everyone must confirm and approve inside the app.
Money Back in Wallets
If you chose to split it, everyone gets their share sent back into their KasiConvocation wallet. Which in this case is R10,000 + interest.
Withdraw to Bank
From the wallet, you tap Withdraw, type in your bank details and money lands in your personal bank account!
